Umair Sharafat is an experienced IT risk management professional currently serving as an IT Risk Manager at SC&H Group since August 2023. Prior to this role, Umair held positions at Morgan Stanley as an Internal Audit Manager focused on Investment Management and at T. Rowe Price as an IT Audit Manager and Senior IT Auditor. Umair began a career in IT risk analysis at EY as a Senior IT Risk Analyst and IT Risk Analyst and has experience in educational testing at the Community College of Baltimore County. Umair also completed an internship at Exelon focusing on Internal Controls and IT SOX. Umair earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Baltimore County between 2012 and 2015.
