John Syburg

John Syburg is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private investment and management roles. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Blackthorne Partners Ltd. since January 2007, Syburg specializes in investing in small and medium businesses with potential for growth and transition. Currently, Syburg also serves as CFO/Advisor at Sharp Turn Products, Principal at both Schaefer Brush Manufacturing, LLC, and Berlon Industries, LLC, and as a board member for Acts Housing and Tall Pines Conservancy. Prior experience includes significant positions at Cleary Gull Inc., Blunt Ellis & Loewi, and Marine Trust Company, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
