Lawrence P. Schaefer has extensive experience in employment discrimination law. Lawrence P. worked at Leonard, Street and Deinard as an Associate from 1988 to 1993. Lawrence P. then joined Sprenger & Lang, where they served as an Associate and Partner from 1993 to 2005, and played a significant role in a groundbreaking sexual harassment case. Since 2006, Schaefer has been the President of Schaefer Halleen, LLC. In this role, they aggressively advocate and negotiates on behalf of plaintiffs in employment discrimination lawsuits. Lawrence P. is responsible for litigation strategy, law firm strategy and vision, litigation case management, talent acquisition, and mentoring the legal team.

Lawrence P. Schaefer completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Philosophy from the University of Chicago from 1981 to 1984. Afterward, they attended the University of Minnesota Law School, where they graduated with a Doctor of Law (JD) degree, magna cum laude, from 1985 to 1988. In 1988, they obtained their Bar Admission in the State of Minnesota and was certified to practice law in the U.S. District Court District of Minnesota. Lawrence P. also obtained certification to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals 8th Circuit in 1989.
