Marcus Brown

Marcus Brown is currently a Sales Consultant at Schaeffer Automotive Group, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Oncology Territory Manager at Daiichi from May 2019 to April 2020, where they were responsible for launching Turalio for patients with Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor (TGCT) or Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis (PVNS). Marcus also called on medical oncologists who treated patients with this rare bone/joint sarcoma in a 5 state area, as well as orthopedic oncologists who performed surgeries to remove these tumors. Marcus played a pivotal role in connecting key health system KOLs (Mayo Clinic, Fairview Health, University of Iowa) with sales leadership during the first quarter of execution.

Before their time at Daiichi, Marcus worked as a Regional Account Manager at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from August 2017 to May 2019, where they successfully launched Soliris for generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG). Marcus was responsible for identifying key providers and stakeholders who managed AchR positive gMG patients within a 4 state area. In addition, they participated in key Academic Grand Round meetings, conferences as well as MG presentations within the teaching institutions in their area of coverage (Mayo Clinic, University of Minnesota & Nebraska Medical College). Lastly, Marcus participated and supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) in their quarterly and annual events.

Marcus Brown received a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, an ME in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business.
