Dr. Astrid Fontaine

Dr. Astrid Fontaine serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the Executive Board at Schaeffler. Previously, Dr. Fontaine held significant roles at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles as a member of the Board of Management for People and Transformation, and at Bentley Motors Ltd as a member of the Board of Management for People, Digitalization, & IT. Additional experience includes serving as a Vice President of Human Resources, Culture, and Innovation (CHRO) at Porsche Cars North America, and as a Professor of Digital Enterprise at Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Dr. Fontaine earned a Doctorate in Information Systems - IT from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and International Management from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
