Jochen Zapf

Jochen Zapf is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and product lifecycle management, currently serving as a Senior Specialist in PLM at Schaeffler since April 2012. Zapf has held multiple specialist roles focusing on Embedded Software Tool Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Systems Engineering, and Process and Method Development. Prior to joining Schaeffler, Zapf was an Akademischer Rat a.Z. and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the University of Bayreuth from January 2008 to February 2012, working in the Chair of Design Theory and CAD. Zapf earned a Dr.-Ing. in Engineering Sciences and a Diplom-Ingenieur from the University of Bayreuth, completing studies from 2002 to 2012.
