Michael Powers currently serves as Vice President – Quality for Schaeffler Americas, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various leadership positions at Cummins Inc., including Quality Director and Quality Leader for Turbo Technologies, from May 2019 to January 2024. Michael’s experience also includes serving as Quality Manager for both Schaeffler Group USA, Inc. and Johnson Controls, focusing on Tier One Automotive and Life Safety Products, respectively, between November 2014 and May 2019. Earlier in Michael’s career, a role as Calibration Development Engineer at Ford Motor Company involved transmission calibration for global powertrain models from May 2006 to November 2014. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, earned between 2001 and 2006, and attended Henry Ford College from 1999 to 2001.
