Aleksandr Buyval

Aleksandr Buyval is a Self-Driving Software System Engineer at Constructor Group, contributing to the Roborace competition team since January 2023. Prior to this role, Aleksandr served as a Senior Researcher at Acronis SIT Autonomous from May 2020 to February 2023, also involved with the Roborace competition team. Between February 2016 and May 2020, Aleksandr worked as a Senior Researcher at Innopolis University within the Intelligent Robotic Systems Lab. Further experience includes a Senior Researcher position at Computational Mechanics Ltd. from November 2011 to November 2017, and an Associate Professor and Scientific Assistant at Bryansk State Technical University from September 2002 to January 2016. Aleksandr's educational background includes a PhD in Computer Sciences from Bryansk State Technical University, an Engineer's degree in Computer Sciences, and an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering, all obtained from the same institution between 1997 and 2005.
