Erica Schulze

Erica Schulze has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Department Chair for English Language Arts at Schaumburg School District 54 since 2006. Notable achievements include leading Eisenhower Jr. High to rank in the top 5% nationally for reading growth during the 2013-2014 school year, teaching a gifted class with a 70% growth target success rate, and implementing a Professional Learning Community system with 16 department members. Erica has also contributed to various educational initiatives, including the Common Core State Standard Task Force and multiple presentations on data-driven instruction. Additionally, Erica's leadership roles include serving on the School Leadership Team and as an Interim Assistant Principal, alongside facilitating the implementation of behavior intervention plans. Erica's educational background includes advanced degrees in educational leadership and special education from DePaul University.
