Beau Folsom has over 18 years of professional experience in the art and design industry. Beau started their career as a Lead Artist at Surreal Software/Midway in 2003 and later became an Art Director at FXLabs in 2005. In 2007, they served as an Art Director at Zombie Studios before joining Realtime Worlds as a Lead Artist in 2008. Beau then moved up to the position of Art Manager and eventually Art Director for the All Points Bulletin (APB) project at Realtime Worlds.

In 2011, Beau began working at Unity Technologies, where they held multiple roles, including Content Developer, Art Director, and Contract Consultant. During their time at Unity, they led creative teams, built demos and content using emerging technologies, and provided art support for various groups within the company.

Beau also had experience working at Microsoft as a Senior Technical Artist from 2017 to 2020. During this time, they contributed their expertise in technical art to enhance the visual quality and performance of Microsoft's products.

In recent years, Beau has worked as a Freelance Creator under their own company, Folsom Freelancing, providing a wide range of art and design services, including branding, illustration, package design, and game design. Beau also holds a certification as a Scrum Master, although the institution and specific details regarding its completion are unknown.
