Michael Giam has extensive experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on design and creative management. Michael is currently serving as the Principal Designer & Manager at Schell Games, where they provide design leadership and staff direction for various projects, including screen-based games, AR and VR experiences, and theme park attraction design. Prior to this, they worked as a Consulting Specialist at Precision Mojo. From 2008 to 2011, they held the role of Chief Creative Officer at Big Bang Entertainment, where they drove creative design aspects, managed the design team, and contributed to strategic planning. Before that, they worked as the Director of Design at Rainbow Studios, overseeing the creation of games for Pixar's Cars and setting the groundwork for new AAA IP. Their career began at Sony Computer Entertainment America in 1993, where they served in various design and production roles and eventually became the Creative Director at the Santa Monica Studio.
