Kent Blackwell

Kent Blackwell has extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in penetration testing and red team engagements. Since August 2015, Kent has held multiple titles at Schellman, progressing from Senior Penetration Tester to Director of the Penetration Testing Team, leading assessments across diverse industries and preparing detailed reports on vulnerabilities and remediation strategies. Prior to Schellman, Kent served as a System Security Engineer for the Air Force Civilian Service and Jacobs Technology, conducting security penetration tests for DOD cybersecurity initiatives. Kent also supported DOD projects at Ultra Electronics - ProLogic, focusing on system hardening and compliance artifact development. Kent began a career in IT as an Automation Technician at aXseum Solutions, LLC, overseeing information management for education services. Kent holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Kansas State University.
