Joseph R. Dicaprio

Joseph R. DiCaprio has an extensive background in educational administration, currently serving as Deputy Superintendent at Schenectady City School District since September 2021. Previously, Joseph held roles as Assistant Superintendent of District Initiatives, Planning, & Accountability and Executive Director of Elementary Schools within the same district. Prior experience includes serving as Administrator at Rosendale Elementary School from December 2015 to September 2021 and at Woodlawn Elementary School from June 2012 to December 2015. Joseph began their career as an Administrator at The Academy of Culture & Communication at Pleasant Valley Elementary School from May 2008 to June 2012. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the State University of New York Cortland between 1995 and 1999.
