Marcel Claessen

Marcel Claessen is an experienced executive with a strong background in logistics and operations management. Currently serving as CEO of Schenk Tanktransport since December 2023, Marcel has also been the owner of ClaessenBrainwork since January 2013. Previously, Marcel held the position of CEO at The Medical Export Group BV from May 2019 to April 2023 and served on the Supervisory Board of Rabobank from July 2012 to June 2020. Additional roles include Partner at Somerset Capital Partners and various senior positions at Royal FloraHolland, including COO, where responsibilities encompassed operations, facility management, and supply chain management. Marcel's career began at Steel Logistics Europe and TDG, where Marcel excelled in leadership and operational roles. Educational qualifications include an MSc and BSc in Industrial Management from the University of Twente and a BSc in Applied Physics from Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
