Erik Wirsing is currently serving as the Vice President Global Innovation at DB Schenker since September 1999. With a background in logistics, material, and supply chain management, Erik has undertaken various roles within the Schenker group, including SVP IT-Architecture/Cross-Functional Services, SVP Innovation, SVP System Development, Team leader Corporate System Development, and Project manager at Corporate System Development. Erik also completed an apprenticeship as a forwarding agent at Schenker Eurocargo | Schenker-BTL (Deutschland) AG. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics, Material, and Supply Chain Management from Hessische Berufsakademie BA and a Betriebswirt (VWA) from Hessische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie. Erik is currently involved in advisory roles at DLab and Schenker Ventures.
