Grethe Wiig Samdal

Grethe Wiig Samdal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the media and business sectors. Since April 2016, Grethe has held the position of Director of Subscription for Bergens Tidende and Stavanger Aftenblad at Schibsted, overseeing user markets, strategy, and business development. Grethe has also served as Project Manager for digital business models and consumer revenue at Bergens Tidende and has held various leadership roles, including Acting CEO. Grethe's prior experience includes significant roles in business development, project management for digital transformation, and financial control in multiple companies within Schibsted Media Group and local newspaper associations. Grethe holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and a General Certificate of Education from Skeisvang Videregående Skole.
