Hanna Waage Hjelmeland

Hanna Waage Hjelmeland is a data scientist with diverse experience in various technology and engineering roles. Currently employed at Schibsted since March 2023, Hanna previously worked as a data scientist at Maritech, specializing in data science solutions using SQL, SSMS, Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and Python. In a part-time capacity, Hanna contributed to a master thesis project at Zeabuz, developing a simulator for autonomous ships in Python. Prior experience includes a summer internship at Accenture exploring machine learning solutions, a summer researcher position at SINTEF Digital focused on sensor integration for satellites, and various engineering and teaching roles including a student teaching assistant at NTNU. Hanna holds a Master of Science degree in Cybernetics and Robotics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
