Catherine Drouet

Principal Engineer - Group Product Innovation at Schindler Group

Catherine Drouet has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Catherine began their career as an intern at Outil Métal Noirot, where they focused on optimizing the logistics department and reorganizing stocks for efficiency improvement. Catherine then worked as an intern at M&A Industrie, designing prototypes and machines for specialized machinery. Catherine also had an internship at Saint Gobain SEVA, where they gained experience in building architectural hardware. Catherine briefly worked as an industrial designer at SODIMAS before joining The Bay Department Store as a salesperson. Catherine then worked at DE ESPRO, Cabinet de conception as an Engineer of Mechanical Studies, designing special machines using SolidWorks. Catherine joined Schindler Group in 2006, starting as a Field Engineer and later becoming a Product Manager for Mechanical products. Catherine also worked as a System Project Manager, overseeing product design development for the Asian market. In 2013, Catherine joined AS Ascenseurs as the Responsable des Techniciens de Projets before returning to Schindler Group in 2015 as a Product Manager Mechanical. Catherine currently holds the position of Principal Engineer - Group Product Innovation.

Catherine Drouet obtained a University Technical Diploma (two-year degree) in Mechanical engineering and industrial manufacturing from IUT GMP in Belfort (90) in 1999-2001. Catherine further pursued their education at Ecole nationale d'Ingénieurs de Metz from 2001-2004, where they completed their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
