Dominik Schmitt

Dominik Schmitt is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in project and innovation management, currently serving as Principal Engineer in Global Product Innovation at Schindler Group since April 2019. Schmitt has effectively led cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to launch, utilizing agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency. Previously, Schmitt held the position of Team Leader at Schindler Aufzüge AG, where management of a technical team and digitization of processes improved operational quality. Educational qualifications include an EMBA from EPFL and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Augsburg, complemented by additional studies in Mechatronics and Applied Computer Sciences.
