Hemant Bapat

Hemant Bapat has a diverse work history spanning various roles and responsibilities. Hemant began their career in 2006 as an Account Executive (Sales) at Gharda Chemicals Ltd., Chiplun. After that, they worked as an Executive in Marketing (Escalators) at Schindler Group from 2007 to 2009. Hemant then progressed to the role of Sales Engineer and later became a Senior Executive in the Infrastructure & Top Range Division at Schindler Group from 2009 to 2012. From 2013 to 2014, Hemant worked as an Order Engineer in the Top Range Division, involved in project and contract management. Hemant then became the Manager of Estimation (Major Projects) at Schindler Group from 2013 to 2013. Moving forward, Hemant held the position of Assistant Manager in the Top Range Team from 2012 to 2012. Hemant then transitioned to lead Sales Engineer in the Top Range Team (Middle East), responsible for complete back-end project management of high-rise projects in the Gulf. From 2017 to 2019, Hemant worked as a Senior Sales Engineer in the Large Project Division at Schindler Group. Hemant then progressed to the role of Project Manager in the Global Large Projects Division from 2019 to 2021. Continuing their growth, Hemant became a Senior Project Manager in the same division from 2021 to 2023. Presently, they are the Lead Vertical Transport Engineer in the Large Projects Center, Europe North at Schindler Group starting from 2023, and they have most recently taken on the role of Team Lead VT Engineering-Large Projects Center, Europe North starting from 2024. Prior to their career at Schindler Group, Hemant worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Gharda Chemicals Ltd., Chiplun from 2002 to 2003.

Hemant Bapat completed their MBA in Marketing & General Management from the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering in 2002. Hemant also holds additional certifications from the Schindler Group, including "Traffic Vision Advanced" and "Traffic Vision (Traffic analysis of people flow in buildings through elevators)", obtained in 2019 and 2009 respectively.
