Marco Cobianchi

Marco Cobianchi has extensive work experience in various roles within different companies. Marco started their career in 1996 as a Material Manager at Bticino. Marco then worked as a Financial Controller at Mikron from 1999 to 2000, followed by an Accounting & Controlling Manager role at Mikron from 2001 to 2002. In 2003, they served as a Supply Chain Director at Mikron. Marco joined Schindler Electronics Ltd. in 2004 as a CFO, responsible for various departments such as Finance & Controlling, I.T., Human Resources, and Building Maintenance & Safety. Marco held this position until 2011. Marco then worked at Schindler Group, where they had multiple roles including CEO from 2012 to 2015. As CEO, they set the company's strategy and achieved financial and operational results. Marco also created a new business unit to diversify revenues. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Head of Operations Supply Chain Europe at Schindler Group. Subsequently, they became the Head E&E Global Supply Chain Area Controlling from 2017 to 2022, where they provided financial decision support and coordinated planning processes. Currently, Marco is the Head Global Procurement (CPO) at Schindler Group, responsible for the overall procurement organization and strategy implementation.

Marco Cobianchi completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree at Politecnico di Milano from 1989 to 2004. In addition, they obtained a CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certification in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from APICS Northern Colorado between 1996 and 1997.
