Simon Hunkeler

Simon Hunkeler has over nine years of work experience in the accounting and reporting field. Simon began their career at EY as an Assistant in 2012 and progressed to the role of Senior in 2014. Simon then became an Assistant Manager in 2016 before joining the Schindler Group in 2017. At Schindler Group, they first served as the Group IFRS Specialist until 2020, when they were promoted to Lead Global Accounting & Reporting. Since November 2021, Simon has held the position of Head Global Accounting & Reporting at Schindler Group.

Simon Hunkeler graduated from Akademie der EXPERTsuisse with a diploma in Wirtschaftsprüfung in the years 2012-2016. Prior to that, they attended Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Management & Law from 2009 to 2012. Simon also received additional certifications including a diploma in Wirtschaftsprüfung from Bundesverwaltung in 2016 and a BSc in Business Administration from Hochschule Luzern in 2012.
