Irina Fodchenko

Irina Fodchenko is a Senior Lawyer at Advokatfirmaet Schjødt, with extensive experience in both legal practice and academia. In addition to the current role since September 2019, Irina serves as an Examiner and Supervisor at the Universitetet i Oslo, instructing various courses in law and currently pursuing a PhD in Law focusing on offshore petroleum operations in the Barents Arctic. Previous positions include Legal Counsel at LUKOIL Overseas North Shelf AS, Lecturer at the International Summer School of the University of Oslo, and Senior Policy Analyst at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute. Irina's educational background includes a Norwegian Master of Laws from the University of Oslo, a Specialist Degree in Jurisprudence from Saint Petersburg Law University, and additional studies at the University of Cambridge and Murmansk State Technical University.
