Carrie Briscoe

Carrie Briscoe is an experienced education specialist currently working at the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging since March 2018, focusing on programs related to dementia and person-centred care. Briscoe has facilitated multiple training programs, including The Working Mind and LIVING the Dementia Journey, and was instrumental in developing the One Day program promoting person-centred culture. Previous roles include coordinating marketing and events for the St. Jacobs Business Improvement Area, managing social media for Block Three Brewing Company, and serving as a sessional instructor and research assistant at the University of Waterloo. With a Master of Arts in Recreation and Leisure Studies and a background in therapeutic recreation, Briscoe has contributed to various projects aimed at enhancing care for individuals with dementia.
