Vanda Koukounakis

Vanda Koukounakis has extensive experience in the senior living industry. Vanda started their career at Sunrise Senior Living in 2005 as a Dining Services Coordinator. Vanda then moved up to become an Assisted Living Coordinator and eventually an Executive Director. In 2009, they joined Schlegel Villages as a General Manager and later became the Vice President of Support Office Services in July 2021.

Vanda Koukounakis has a diverse education history, starting with their most recent endeavor at Cornell University, where they pursued a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate. This educational pursuit lasted until 2021. Prior to that, they attended Conestoga College from 2013 to 2014, obtaining a degree in Leadership in Senior Living.

In 2010, Vanda Koukounakis acquired a Certificate in Administration/Leadership from the Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors. Additionally, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, they attended Humber College, focusing on studies related to Law, Justice, and Social Studies.
