Frederik Schou-Hansen began their work experience in 1999 as an Architect at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects. Frederik then moved on to become the Head of Concept Development from 2000 to 2002. In 2003, they became a Project Architect and Project Manager at the same company until 2008, where they then became the Head of the Aarhus Office. Frederik also took on the role of Associate Partner and Director of the Aarhus Office starting in 2014. In 2017, Schou-Hansen joined CEBRA as the COO.
Frederik Schou-Hansen earned their Cand. Arch. degree in Architecture from Arkitektskolen Aarhus, where they studied from 1993 to 1999. After a break, they pursued further education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business and Social Science from Aarhus University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2017.
