Minjoon Kouh

Minjoon Kouh is an experienced professional in the field of science and data analysis, currently serving as a Program Scientist at Schmidt Sciences since February 2024. Prior to this role, Minjoon held a similar position at Schmidt Futures from May 2022 to January 2024. With a substantial academic background, Minjoon was a Professor at Drew University from September 2009 to January 2023 and has experience as a Data Scientist at pulseData in 2018 and 2019. Minjoon's research career includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from August 2007 to August 2009 and an internship at State Street Associates in 2007. Early in the career, Minjoon worked as an Information Technology Consultant at PeopleSoft, Inc. from 1997 to 1999. Minjoon holds a PhD in Physics with a focus on Computational Neuroscience from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a BS in Physics from the same institution and an MS in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
