Michael Huddleston

Michael Huddleston has extensive experience in leadership and operations across various sectors, including transportation, finance, and military service. Currently serving as a School Bus Driver for Schmitty & Sons Transportation since September 2021, Michael previously held management roles at MVTA and Septran Student Transportation, overseeing operations, personnel, and safety. Prior to this, Michael worked as a Financial Advisor at First Command Financial Services, focusing on client relationships and financial planning. A distinguished career in the Minnesota Army National Guard spans two decades, where Michael held senior positions, including Senior Army Aviation Officer and 34th Combat Aviation Brigade Commander, demonstrating expertise in training, budget management, and disaster response coordination. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and History and a Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.
