Joshua Schneps

Joshua Schneps is a prominent media entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in community publishing and event management. As the Owner of The Fire Island News since December 2023, Joshua also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Publisher of Schneps Media, which publishes over 40 community newspapers and magazines and hosts around 40 business to business and live events annually across New York City, Long Island, and Westchester. Additional roles include President of The World's Fare, Publisher of The Long Island Press, and Owner of several digital publications such as Brownstoner and Brokelyn, along with leadership positions in the Best of Long Island Awards and LIC Flea & Food. Joshua's career in media began after graduating from Indiana University Bloomington in 2000.
