Julian Burgess has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Julian started their career at Moores Furniture Group as a Product Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for product design and development. Julian later became the Head of Product Development, leading a team and overseeing the design and development of thousands of products.

Julian then joined Howdens Joinery Co as the Design & Development Manager for the Kitchens Category. Here, they managed the development of kitchen products and helped the company achieve significant annual turnover.

Julian later became the Head of Programme Management at MAYBORN GROUP LIMITED, where they played a key role in managing product programs and contributing to the success of the tommee tippee brand.

Julian then worked at LINPAC Packaging as an Innovation Manager, leading the development and production of innovative packaging solutions for the food industry.

Julian then joined A-SAFE UK as the Head of Product Engineering and was responsible for overseeing product engineering initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Julian worked at Ornua as an ICT Model Consultant, providing support during an ERP cutover project.

Julian is currently working at Schoeller Allibert as a Project Director.

Julian Burgess has a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering and a HND in Information Technology from The Open University, where they studied from 1996 to 2002. Before attending The Open University, they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies from Yorkshire Coast College in 1992 and a City & Guilds in Information Technology from the same institution in 1990. Additionally, they are a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certified by APMG, which they obtained in October 2014.
