Rushmie Nofsinger

Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Affairs at Scholar Rock

Rushmie Nofsinger is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Senior Account Executive and Senior Content Strategist at Solomon McCown & Cence. After that, they joined State Street Global Advisors as a Principal in Financial Communications. Rushmie then moved on to M+R Strategic Services, where they served as an Account Supervisor. In 2010, they became the Director of Communications and Strategic Marketing at NEHI. Following that, they worked as an Associate Director of Public Relations at Tufts University from 2013 to 2015. Rushmie then joined Fresenius Medical Care, one of the largest kidney care and dialysis companies in the world, as the Senior Director of Public Relations and Communications. In 2016, they transitioned to AMAG Pharmaceuticals, holding various positions, including Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations. Rushmie joined Takeda in 2021 as the VP and Head of USBU Communications before joining Scholar Rock as the Vice President of Investor Relations & Corporate Affairs in December 2021. In 2022, they also began working as a Coach at Activate 180.

Rushmie Nofsinger has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross. Rushmie also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Business Economics Journalism from Boston University. In addition to their degrees, Rushmie has obtained several certifications in positive psychology coaching and consulting. Rushmie has an Applied Positive Psychology Coach Certification, a Certificate in Positive Psychology Consulting, and a Certificate in Applied Positive Psychology, all from The Flourishing Center. Rushmie is also a member of the International Coaching Federation and has received the ICF Member Badge.
