Cindy Freeman is an experienced professional in education and program management, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Learning and Development at Scholarship America since October 2017. Previously, Cindy held roles as an Adjunct Faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University and as an Associate Adjunct Professor at Heartland Community College, where responsibilities included teaching online courses and instructing on Personal, Career, and Academic Success strategies. As the Owner/Operator of Freeman Training and Consulting, Cindy supported individuals and groups in achieving their goals while also assessing college-access strategies for a national student loan guarantor. Prior to these roles, Cindy was the Senior Director of Community Programs at Scholarship America, where program expansion was achieved from 10 to nearly 200 locations. Early in career, Cindy worked as the Community Living Editor for Mt. Pleasant News. Cindy holds a Master of Arts in Education from Concordia University-St. Paul and a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from Northern Illinois University.
