Jackie de Leo

Jackie De Leo is an accomplished publishing professional with extensive experience in merchandising and sales management. Currently serving as Publisher and Chief Merchant at Scholastic since June 2025, Jackie previously held the position of Chief Merchandising Officer and VP, GMM, Bookstore at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from February 2020 to January 2025. Prior roles include VP of Disney Book Group Sales at Disney Publishing Worldwide, Vice President of Merchandising and Product Management at ReaderLink, and multiple leadership positions at Disney Publishing Worldwide, including Director of Sales North America. Additional experience encompasses director and manager roles at Levy Home Entertainment, Penguin Group USA, Hastings Entertainment, and Advanced Marketing Services. Jackie holds a BA in English from San Diego State University and an MBA in Marketing from Walden University.
