Liza Charlesworth

Liza Charlesworth is an experienced executive in children's publishing, currently serving as an Executive Editor for Acquisitions & Development at Scholastic since April 1993. In this role, Liza identifies trends and develops educational products for various sales channels. Previously, Liza was the Editorial Director overseeing early-learning publishing and managing a profitable book line. Additionally, Liza is the President of Lefty's Editorial Services, a successful book-packaging firm specializing in children's fiction and nonfiction. Liza's early career at Scholastic as a Senior Editor involved extensive writing, editing, and collaborating with authors. Liza holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing & Literature from Binghamton University.
