Tami Pruitt

Tami Pruitt is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Director of Literacy Development at Scholastic since 2015, after initially working as a Literacy Consultant from 2011 to 2015. Prior to joining Scholastic, Tami spent seven years at Blue Springs School District as an Instructional Coach for K-5, a Reading Interventionist, and an Elementary Teacher. Tami's career began in the USD #500 Kansas City, Kansas School District as an Elementary Teacher from 2001 to 2004. Tami holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Pittsburg State University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from Rockhurst University.
