Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Regional Director of Professional Learning at Scholastic since August 2016, and previously held the title of Literacy Leadership Specialist. Kathy has a robust background in professional development, having worked as a Professional Development Speaker for Staff Development for Educators from July 2008 to July 2017, presenting on various educational topics including Early Childhood Education and Literacy Strategies at conferences nationally and internationally. Additionally, Kathy operated Kathy Griffin's Teaching Strategies, providing professional development for early childhood educators across the U.S. and Canada. Kathy's teaching experience includes roles as a 1st Grade Teacher at Jenks Public Schools and a Kindergarten Teacher at Sand Springs Public Schools, along with other teaching positions. Kathy holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern State University.
