Markus Knoerzer

Markus Knoerzer is a highly experienced manager and software developer in the field of optical biosensors and laser technology. With a background in electrical engineering and information technology, Markus has worked on various projects related to heart attack detection and laser spectroscopy. Currently, Markus manages a software development team at SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC GMBH, focusing on digital endoscopes. Previous roles include co-founding HatiSens to develop photonic biosensors for faster heart attack detection and working as a laser scientist at MOGLabs. Markus also holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering - Integrated Photonics from RMIT University.
