Laszlo Szocs is a seasoned quantitative researcher with a strong background in finance and physics. Currently serving as a Quantitative Researcher at Schonfeld since September 2021, Laszlo previously held the position of Vice President at AQR Capital Management, where responsibilities included quantitative research in portfolio construction and risk modeling. Prior experience includes work as a Quant Trader at XR Trading, focusing on high-frequency trading signal research for US equity products. Laszlo's early academic involvement includes research in quantum optics at Princeton University and management roles within the Princeton Autonomous Vehicle Engineering group. Laszlo holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering and Physics from Princeton University.
