Thomas Appleyard is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in macro execution and investment analysis. Currently serving as Head EMEA Macro Execution at Schonfeld since November 2021, Appleyard previously held the position of Senior Investment Analyst at Manulife Asset Management from January 2019 to October 2021. Prior to that, Appleyard worked as an Execution Trader at Nektar Asset Management AB and as an Associate at Napier Park Global Capital, where the focus was on Global Macro Strategies. Earlier career experiences include a Financial Analyst Intern role at China Economic Review and A-level Economics Teacher at Wuxi Guanghua International School.
