Tom van Riper

Tom Van Riper has extensive experience in the financial industry, holding various management positions throughout their career. Tom started as a Senior Account Executive at Jefferies in 1991 and worked their way up to becoming the Global Head of Sales at Instinet Corporation. Tom later served as Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co., President of Vector Partners at Bank of America, and COO at JPMorgan Investment Bank. Tom'srole as Founder and COO of Trace River Capital Advisors, LLC saw him successfully launch a start-up hedge fund. Most recently, Tom served as the COO of Quantitative Trading Strategies at Schonfeld after leading the Business Acceleration Team at Point72. Throughout their career, they have been involved in business development, operations, and strategic leadership in the financial sector.

Tom Van Riper holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from St. Norbert College, where they were awarded the Presidential Scholarship. Tom also obtained certifications in Cornell Blockchain Essentials from Cornell University and CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate from CAIA Association in 2022.
