Tracy Backofen

Tracy Backofen serves as the Global Head of Human Capital Management at Schonfeld since September 2025, focusing on talent strategy and development across public investing businesses. Prior to this role, Tracy spent over 25 years at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included talent development within the Asset Management Division, divisional management support in the Consumer and Investment Management Division, and operational activities as Chief of Staff for the Investment Management Division. Additional roles encompassed campus recruiting management for the Americas Security Division and overseeing the global analyst program within the Securities Division. Tracy holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland, earned in 1998.
