Zachary Schmidt

Zachary Schmidt is an experienced finance professional with a solid background in portfolio management and research. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Schonfeld since 2020, Zachary previously held the position of Director of Research for Telecom and Media at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, Zachary was a Senior Analyst at Surveyor Capital from 2010 to 2018, covering the Telecom and Media sectors. Zachary's career also includes roles as a Senior Analyst at Kingdon Capital, LLC, from 2002 to 2009, and as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from 1997 to 2002. Zachary earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Delaware in 1997.
