Jay Matuk has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as a Mentor Coach for the School Administrators Association of New York State since September 2017. In addition, Matuk has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Technology and Administration at Long Island University since September 2009. Prior experience includes a role as Principal at Cold Spring Harbor High School from July 2006 to June 2017 and as an Assistant Professor at Queens College from September 2000 to June 2006. Matuk's educational background includes a Master's in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois Chicago, a Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership and Administration from Queens College, and a Bachelor's degree in History/Political Science with honors from Binghamton University.
