Kevin Sheridan serves as the Educational Equity Coordinator at School District 197 since July 2022, overseeing AVID District operations and American Indian Education programming while also providing cultural liaison and translation services. In addition, Kevin supports culturally responsive classroom instruction and equitable grading practices. As an Equitable Grading Coach with Crescendo Education Group since August 2021, Kevin continues to enhance educational equity. Previously, Kevin spent over 25 years at ISD 622 in roles such as Instructional Coach, AVID Coordinator, and Language Arts Teacher, focusing on culturally responsive teaching and professional development. Kevin also taught as an adjunct instructor at Hamline University, contributing to the Master of Arts in Literacy Education program. Kevin holds multiple degrees, including an Educational Specialist degree from Hamline University and a Master of Education from the University of Minnesota.
