Shannon Lawson is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Third Grade Classroom Teacher at Garlough Environmental Magnet School since June 2020, Shannon has held various roles within School District 197 since 2003, including Digital Coach, Math Intervention Teacher, and multiple classroom teaching positions across different grade levels. Professional development includes participation in numerous conferences and training sessions focused on gifted education, technology integration, and literacy instruction. Shannon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa, a Master's Degree from Hamline University, and a Certificate of Technology Integration from Dominican University of California. A strong commitment to fostering learning in both gifted and struggling students is evident through involvement in leadership roles and specialized teaching programs.
