Cathy Xu

Cathy Xu, SCMP, currently serves as a Senior Buyer at School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) since August 2024. Previously, Cathy held the position of Director of Procurement at Hillberg & Berk from October 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included diversifying vendors, leading quality management efforts, and implementing contracts and procedures. Prior experience includes serving as Procurement Manager for Hardgoods at Saje Natural Wellness from July 2012 to October 2021, managing procurement goals and vendor relationships, and as Senior Purchaser, ensuring the timely delivery of goods. Earlier, Cathy worked as a Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator at The Hutchings Company (Canada) Inc from August 2006 to July 2012, coordinating vendor communications and managing inventory. Cathy holds a Supply Chain Management Professional certification earned between November 2020 and June 2022, and completed education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2006.
