Jason Poeppel

Jason Poeppel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jason started their career as an Aquatic Plants Harvester at Dane County Public Works in 2005, where they managed the level of aquatic plants in Dane County lakes and was involved in building and repairing harvesters. In 2005, they also worked as a Concession Stand Supervisor at Centerplate until 2009. Jason then transitioned to the role of an IT Officer at Badger Bank in 2007, where they managed the IT infrastructure, maintained a yearly budget, and conducted risk assessments. Jason worked in this position until 2013 when they joined Beaver Dam Unified School District as an IT System Analyst I. In this role, they were responsible for provisioning, installing, and maintaining systems hardware and software. Finally, in 2014, Jason became the IT Director at School District of Jefferson, where they directed and managed the Information Technology Department, formulated an IT vision and implementation plan for the district, and supervised department staff members.

Jason Poeppel attended Madison Area Technical College from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Network Specialist. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Fort Atkinson High School from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Jason also holds certifications as a Google Apps Certified Administrator, which they obtained in January 2015 from Google, and as a SolarWinds Certified Professional, obtained in March 2014 from SolarWinds.
