Tessa Benedon is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist currently serving at the School District of New Berlin since August 2018, where responsibilities include working with students in grades 7-12 and specializing as an Assistive Technology Specialist. In addition, Tessa has provided in-home respite care for non-verbal teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other cognitive and visual impairments through IRIS since June 2012. Prior to these roles, Tessa was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from September 2016 to August 2018, following the completion of a Master of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders. Tessa's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
