Dan Kahn

Dan Kahn, P.E. currently serves as a Chemistry Teacher at Motivation High School within The School District of Philadelphia, teaching subjects like Chemistry, Forensics, and Genetics since 2022, following a student teaching role at John Bartram High School from 2021 to 2022. Prior to education, Dan gained extensive engineering experience, starting at Geosyntec Consultants as a Staff Engineer focusing on groundwater remediation and subsequently working as an Engineer 1 and Engineer 2 at O'Brien & Gere and its successor, Ramboll, where responsibilities included groundwater treatment plant design and environmental civil design. Dan holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
