Dr. Alberto Rivera

Dr. Alberto Rivera has extensive experience in educational leadership within the School District of Philadelphia, serving as Principal since October 2004, where responsibilities include shaping academic success, cultivating leadership, and managing educational processes. Previous roles within the district include New Teacher Coach, Assistant Principal, Intervention Administrator, and School Growth Teacher, focusing on improving instruction and supporting educational outcomes. Dr. Rivera also has a background in higher education as an adjunct professor at La Salle University and Inter American University of Puerto Rico, and past experience in supervising English language learner programs and teaching. Dr. Rivera holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and multiple leadership certificates from accredited institutions.
